John, a struggling writer fresh out of the closet, wins a trip for two to Costa Rica... but has no one to take. His female best friend introduces John to the West Hollywood scene, hoping to find him a traveling companion... and a fresh script idea. But John gets more than he bargains for when his writing research leads him not only to the heart of Shalev - a young, Israeli go-go dancer he interviews - but... to the go-go stage itself.
